On Wednesday, my sister Sandi asked me to help her with a church activity for the youth group. They were having an etiquette dinner and wanted me to show the kids how to tackle (eat) unusual foods. It was a lot of fun!
We talked about Kumquats, yes you eat the whole thing, and how to take apart a lobster, which provided a couple good laughs, especially when it sprayed water on me as I tried to take the tail meat out. We covered what foods are ok to pick up with your fingers and how to eat a crawfish.
If all else fails... follow your host!
I think the kids were really into it and I had a couple volunteers to help with the demos. What a fun time!

Sounds very interesting! And knowing you, very entertaining as well!
Hope you are feeling well and not too exhausted with Hernandez #2! I love the thought of Hernandez #2!!! And I love that our little babies are due so close together. :) It would be so fun to be able to stroll them around the 'hood together!
Sending lots of love! I'll be back in C-ville at the end of August. Can't wait to see you! :)
